Anodization Process:
The anodizing process involves immersing the aluminum in a solution and passing an electric current through it, which causes the aluminum to react and form a hard, durable oxide layer on its surface.
Clear Anodized:
“Clear” anodizing refers to the process where the oxide layer is left uncolored, allowing the natural metal aspects to shine through. With this type of aluminum, it results in a sheen that ranges from bright gold to a muted metallic.
Benefits:
Because of the clear finish, any defects or forging grains in the metal will be visible and present a uniqueness for each receiver. All sales are final unless in the event of warranty claims based on the functionality of the receiver, not cosmetic preference.
