At Idaho Arms & Ammo, we are happy to assist in the transfer process of your NFA item! We make the process simple and painless, follow the steps below:
Please create an ATF E-Forms Account. This is necessary to complete the transfer process. https://eforms.atf.gov You will receive a unique User Name and chose a 4 digit PIN. Save this info, you will need it to certify the form.
Email us with your contact information, the NFA item ordered and order/invoice number.
Have the sender request our FFL/SOT license info@idahoarmsammo.com
NFA Items must transfer on a Form 3 (dealer to dealer) to us before a Form 4 can be completed.
Once the item arrives and is logged into our books in accordance with Federal Law, we will then contact you and make arrangements for you to come in with your ATF E-Forms username and PIN to begin your Form 4.
We handle fingerprinting and photographs in house! Upon completion of the Form 4, a $75 transfer fee will apply for individual filing, $150 transfer fee for Trust filing.
Idaho Arms & Ammo will securely store your item until the Form 4 is approved. Once it’s approved, you will be contacted and can take possession of the item.
**NOTE** Please note that Form 4 approval times fluctuate and is entirely dependent on the ATF. Idaho Arms & Ammo has no control over these times.
